Plot Summary:
Ma Delano runs a boardwalk penny arcade and lives above it with her sons Harry and Joe and her daughter Jennie. The family becomes involved in events connected to rum-running along the waterfront. As the story unfolds, their lives are disrupted by criminal activity that leads to an accidental killing and a situation in which someone is framed for the crime. The film follows the complications that arise for the Delano family as they deal with the consequences of these events surrounding smuggling, violence, and accusations.
