Plot Summary:
Of Human Bondage follows sensitive, club-footed artist Philip Carey, who abandons his dreams of becoming a painter and returns to medical school, where his life becomes dominated by his obsessive and tumultuous love for a lower-class waitress, Mildred Rogers. Their fraught relationship tests his emotional limits as he pursues her despite her coldness and cruelty. Based on the classic 1915 novel by W.
